|
|
When Administering (adding and changing accounts) through the Users and Computers MMC from my client XP Pro (SP2) machine ( Exchange 2003 is insatalled on Server 2000 Std.) I am unable to see the "E-Mail" and the other Exchange based tabs when viewing user properties, or adding user I'm not offered option to create mailbox. However my colleague can see these. My PC is a new build, but he thinks that there was another install run on his PC to enable this to work
It this a rights issue, or is there an Exchange 2003 admin tool to install?
Please help.

Hi Berthman,
Do you have the Exchange System Manager installed on your workstation? If so, you will see another copy of Active Directory Users and Computers installed under All Programs | Microsoft Exchange. Use that copy of ADUC and see if the tabs show up.
Let us know if this solved your problem. |

Is it on the install Media (Which the company I have just joined don't appear to have anywhere)? or can I download it from MS?
Thanks

Hi Berthman,
It is on the install media. I did a search on Microsoft's Download website and I did not see a separate download for the ESM. You could try and download the Exchange Server 2003 trial version and just install the ESM to see if that works. I'm not sure if the ESM will stop working after the trial period or not.
